Ralph Havens, PT, OCS, IMT, CRalph Havens, PT, OCS, IMT, C

Ralph received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in 1981 and his masters of science degree in physical therapy from Texas Woman's University - Houston in 1985.

He is a board certified clinical specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy. His post graduate training has included extensive study in Integrative Manual Therapy, joint and soft tissue mobilization, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, mechanical link, and strain-counterstrain. He has worked as a teaching assistant for soft tissue mobilization and craniosacral therapy courses.

Ralph is also a marathon runner with a personal best time of 2:28:15 in 1990. He has been the owner of Mission Hills Physical Therapy since 1992.

Danielle M. Emhof, MPTDanielle M. Emhof, MPT

Danielle received her Bachelor's of Science in Biochemistry from SUNY Geneseo in Western New York in 1998. She attended the Univeristy of Pittsburgh for Graduate School and graduated in 2001 with her Master's in Physical Therapy. She also earned her certification as a personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Danielle is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and has a special interest in the Sports Section of the Association. She has studied extensively in manual and exercise-based therapy techniques, and makes it a priority to stay knowledgeable in the latest rehabilitation treatments.

At this time she is focusing her attention in further training in Integrative Manual Therapy. Danielle has also been trained in the evaluation and fitting techniques for foot orthotics and has successfully treated many patients using these skills.

Danielle's interest in the profession of physical therapy was sparked when she was in high school. She was a competitive swimmer and lacrosse player, and played basketball for a year during which she tore her ACL. She has surgery of her knee four years later and was therefore a patient in physical therapy. She finds it easy to identify with many of her patients due to her first hand experience as a patient. She has been a therapist with Mission Hills Physical Therapy since July of 2004, and enjoys working with a wide variety of clients.

Cathie K. Wegrzyn, PTCathie K. Wegrzyn, PT

Cathie received her BA in History from the University of Calfornia Santa Barbara in 1967. She obtained a certificate in Physical Therapy in 1968 through the U.S. Army Program. In 1970, she married and with her husband created four children. By 1977, she received a Masters Degree in Health Science and then another Masters Degree in Education in 1980, both from San Diego State University.

Cathie likes to learn and has studied a variety of therapies including Brain Gym, Biodynamics, Cranial- Sacral, Healing Science, Primal Reflex Release Technique, Reflexology, Trager, and other methods. She enjoys family and grandchildren, travel, boogie boarding, and God. She finds Integrative Manual Therapy to be a wonderful way to help the body heal.

Kanoe Hook, DPTKanoe Hook, DPT

Kanoe received her Bachelor's of science degree in Sports Medicine from Pepperdine University in 2003. She attended Mount ST. Mary's College and graduated in 2006 with her Doctor of Physical Therapy. Kanoe is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association with interests in the neurological, sports and orthopedic sections.

Kanoe has contributed to research with two studies; one focusing on forces at the knee during landing activities in athletic and non-athletic females, and the other on balance and children aged three to five years. She has studied extensively in manual therapy and is receiving further training in Integrative Manual Therapy.

Kanoe's interest in physical therapy as a profession developed in her years at Pepperdine while on the women's water polo team. She also loves teaching and was a swim instructor for ten years in Hawaii to individuals of all ages. Kanoe has an interest in sports related injuries and enjoys working one on one with patients to help them achieve their goals.

Sally Skurdahl, MPTSally Skurdahl, MPT

Sally received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Exercise Science from St. Olaf College in Minnesota in 1999 and her Masters in Physical Therapy was obtained from Mayo Clinic School of Health and Related Sciences in Minnesota in 2002. Ms. Skurdahl has her certification in Strength and Conditioning from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Sally also studied manual therapy, exercise technique including yoga, pilates, tai chi, foot/ankle/biomechanics and orthotics, neuro/stroke rehab. She is currently focusing on furthering her training in Integrative Manual Therapy. Her interest in Physical Therapy began while competing in Track and Field in high school and college; as well as while working at a camp for children and adults with physical disabilities during summers in college.

Sally enjoys rock climbing, mountain and road biking, running and hiking. Sally's expertise includes working with people dealing with neck and back pain problems, chronic pain, sports injuries and post surgical rehabilitation.

Sally Skurdahl, MPTPatti Phillips, PTA

Patti received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Physical Education from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1982. She completed the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Mount Hood Community College and became a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in 2003. In 2006, she completed certification as a Watsu Therapist and a Massage Therapist at the School of Shiatsu and Massage in Middletown, California.

Patti has extensive training in aquatic therapy. It was while working in aquatic therapy with a friend who had suffered a stroke that Patti shifted her focus to healing and Physical Therapy. She saw her friend's life change with a little attention, dedication and intention. She has since developed a variety of manual therapy skills in Integrative Manual Therapy, Watsu, Shiatsu, Craniosacral therapy, Lymphatic massage, soft tissue and joint mobilization. Her focus is total mind/body health.

Patti loves working with people. She also loves animals, swimming, bicycling and hiking.
